I am a new graduate student this year and I am currently completing rotations. My interests include understanding gene expression, and how various signal transduction pathways aid in the regulation of genes. As of now, I am working on the implications of signaling factors related to heart development. I hope to also spend some time looking at the roles of cellular mechanisms in fields such as neuroscience and physiology.
